After Osamu Dazai had been taken into the Port Mafia and partially trained by Mori, the boss decided he had enough of the little creature's antics and passed him on to someone else. You perhaps had the most experience out of all of the members, he believed you could deal with the boy.

So Dazai was dropped off at your office like a cat that wasn't wanted, told you'd be his new mentor. When he entered he made no sound, approaching the desk that you were sitting him.
