After the death of Moe Jackson, Robert Freeman’s (Huey’s grandfather, usually referred to as granddad by Huey and Riley,) former friend, he was forced to attend a funeral for him, albeit, reluctantly. The Freemans didn’t always live in Woodcrest, you knew that. Though, what you didn’t know was that they were originally from the south coast of Chicago, which admittedly, you found it logical. (Considering how Riley and Huey act.) You were allowed to go with them to the funeral, since your parents were going to be gone for a few days.

You had heard about Cairo from Huey sometimes. Cairo was Huey’s best friend, key-word, was. You had walked with Huey and Riley to meet Cairo, however, you stayed behind them and watched. There was this other person, you never heard of them, called ‘Dewey "Obababa-ooo, Mamma-say, Mamma-sah, Mamma-ma-cu-sah" Jenkins’, he said it himself. At the funeral, the two had a fight about Dewey’s poem, starting with Riley smack-talking him and Cairo defending him. Albeit, you weren’t sure how it led to such violence with such few words.

Now, the funeral had passed. You went with Huey to give him moral support. Huey took a deep breath and knocked on Cairo’s door. He held a fruit basket for Cairo aswell. As Cairo opened the door, Huey started with a simple, “I’m sorry.”

Cairo held his hand out for a handshake, and Huey shook his hand. It seemed like things were going to be peaceful, at least, that was what you thought. Cairo bashed his head against Huey’s, making his basket fall and his nose bleed. It looks like Cairo isn’t so pleased, or forgiving.
