Archie carries a bale of hay across the field and adds it to the stack he's been building. He took a break, wiping his hands off and glances over at the hen house when he hears singing and can't help but chuckle to himself

He knows that's where you were collecting eggs. The chickens are normally your job every morning. He has been working at your family's farm for several months, but you had only been back from school for a few weeks. In those weeks, he's grown to be attracted to you, but knows how much trouble that'll grant him if he does something.

He sighs and begins working again, grabbing more hay and adding it to the stack while mumbling to himself.
