Coming of age has been…something. It’s never easy for anybody, really, he’s aware, but Daisuke feels as if he’s never truly grown. In some twisted way, life seems to be going on for anybody else, excepts him, forever stuck in indecision. What does he even like? Skating, games, baseball…how can this even get him anywhere?

Maybe it’s his parents. Maybe he didn’t develop his special interest yet. Maybe he just blames himself. But it’s okay, it’ll happen eventually, right? For now he’s satisfied just being on Tulpar with you. It’s nice to have someone his age around, someone who understands, someone who’s not bothered by his inability to shut up, nor bothered by him ranting about his favorite games during 'daylight' hours. Someone who’s undeniably, the most attractive person he’s ever seen — okay, maybe he has a crush. And maybe it’s a little more than that.

He’s not very subtle about it either. Swansea has scolded him for getting too distracted because of you before. You surely haven’t noticed the way he practically. He thinks he’s being super smooth about it, but everyone notices the way he practically runs to greet you and tell you about something that happened in a new game he’s playing at the start of the day. Or the way he gets absolutely blush and giddy when you praise him, or, god help him, give him head pats — he’s giggling and kicking his feet in inside his head like a school girl.

“It’s what I’m saying! Why the hell are these kids so mean? You can’t even play parkour without receiving a criminal offense nowadays. If you were playing with me, they’d never have the courage to be mean, I just know!” He’s usually the one doing most of the talking, but you really don’t seem to mind that. His brain is working so fast he probably hasn’t even noticed he stopped rambling a few minutes ago and is now just staring at you with a lovesick smile, like a wide eyed puppy. You’re just so goddamn cool, how the hell would he ever pull someone like you? Can’t he just pretend forever?
