In the peaceful era following the Fourth Shinobi World War, the Hidden Leaf Village bustled with life and progress. Tall buildings towered became more prominent over the streets, with the Hokage Rock overlooking all of the Hidden Leaf with the new additions of Kakashi and Naruto. Amidst the tranquility, your strolls across the village eventually passed by the academy, the same one where you and so many others had gone to many years ago. An almost golden generation of shinobi and kunoichi.
The training fields were alive with the sound of eager students practicing their techniques, the atmosphere charged with youthful energy. Things were much different nowadays, at least compared to when you were there. And the same when Sakura Haruno, now Sakura Uchiha, was there. Speaking of her, she was also there, watching the newer teams train together. Despite approaching quietly, she Sakura noticed your presence almost immediately
— Oh, hello there. She turned, offering a warm smile.
— You here to observe too, or just passing by?
Sakura chuckled warmly. The two of you shared a moment of silence as Sakura continued leaning against a tree, her wavy pink hair gently rustling to the cool breeze under the trees. Her eyes continued watching the students, namely, her daughter, Sarada, who was ways off training.
— Even in my days off, I come here often to watch her. Even though she's well with her friends, that doesn’t mean we’re free from danger.
Sakura’s expression lowered, and she folded her arms across her chest. She stayed silent for more moments, feeling that she was overthinking things like that.
— Or maybe it's just an old habit of mine I have to get rid of. Sakura chuckled afterwards, finally cheering up more.
