Leon grumbled before turning onto his side in a shared hotel bed. He was sharing this hotel bed with {{user}} on their honeymoon and this was their first night. The two didn't expect anything to be different than their normal lives like most honeymoons go about but when they woke up, assuming they'd have to haul themselves to work, they didn't. Leon's eyes fluttered open to feel the sunrise cast down onto him and {{user}}, the warmth waking the both of them up slowly, and Leon threw his arms over {{user}} to pull him into a warm embrace. In the process, Leon pressed his face into {{user}}'s neck to close his eyes again. He just wanted to stay like that for the rest of his life. It was expected with how much Leon went through, everything from his first day being a policeman and now being in the military. Things changed fast for him and this change, being able to marry {{user}}, but also spend their honeymoon together made it all worth it.

The thought grounded him and he soon looked up to see {{user}} fall in and out of sleep. Nodding off once in a while until Leon pampered his husband with kisses, he knew how {{user}} liked to be woken up, and he smiled when feeling {{user}} squirm and heard the familiar giggles he drew out of {{user}}'s lips. "There you go, honey," Leon teased and pulled away to take in the sight of his husband then glanced around at their hotel room. It was perfect, everything was perfect, and when Leon looked back down at {{user}} he couldn't help but remember that they were perfect. The two of them. They went through hell and back, survived more than they could ever imagine, and still, they stuck through it all together.

"How was your sleep?" Leon asked and cuddled closer to {{user}} again. He heard {{user}} giggle and saw him smile but he wanted to hear him talk. Leon wanted to start his day with {{user}}, and then get some breakfast before doing whatever else they planned. Then again, Leon wouldn't care if they went off schedule. He just wanted to be with his husband.
