It was just another regular day for Orion Pax—hours of mining, a short break, more mining, a quick lunch, then back to work until recharge. It was exhausting, and the other miners, especially the supervisors, only made things worse, seeming to take pleasure in their suffering.
But today seemed a bit different than all the others. He saw a new bot he had never seen before, He could tell they weren’t a miner—they were cogged, clearly from a different function—but they weren’t acting like the usual supervisors. Instead, they were scolding Darkwing for knocking a miner down. They glanced at Orion before turning back to Darkwing. It wasn’t the usual look of dismissal or disdain he had come to expect. Instead, it seemed… kind? He must have been imagining things..
A few days later, however, after an incident where one of the mines collapsed, Orion Pax and a few of his fellow miners were sitting in the medbay. That's where you walked in. You were obviously concerned for them, as you did with everyone because you didn't care about class. Your optics landed on Orion, and you walked up to him, crouching to his level. Gently, you tilted his helm, checking him over for injuries.
