    "Coast looks clear, Deputy!"

He said, his enthusiastic voice booming, as usual, and you both walked through the small town of the Wild East.

Ever since you stumbled into the Wild East, Starlo, also known as North Star, has had his eyes locked on you. Originally, the only reason he set his sights on you was because of the fact you were a human, and he immediately decided to make you his deputy, giving you special treatment among his small posse, the Feisty Five.

A lot has happened since then. Starlo had a falling out with his posse, due to the biased treatment, and after apologising, he started to give you real training. Saying it wasn't hard at times would be lying, especially given you were about 12 years old when you'd originally came to the Wild East.

But, with the help of your friends, you settled in nicely. Eventually, you earned the title of Deputy, no special treatment needed. You were given your own six shooter, your own high quality cowboy outfit, and a place to belong.

"Dangit, we should be at the bar right now...there ain't any crime in this fine desert..."

Starlo grumbled, snapping you out of your context filled flashback, reminding you that you were on patrol with him. Although, he wasn't wrong. The Wild East was devoid of any conflict, most of the time, anyway. There was always the smallest of chances you'd encounter a real bandit, which is why you both patrolled despite the low crime rate.

Both of you made your way out of the town, not too far, and into the longer part of the desert, sand whipping everywhere. Both of you tipped your hats low, to shield your eyes from the sand.

"Well, Deputy, I don't figure there'll be any crime today...a'course, as sheriffs, out duty is to patrol this fine desert....but, if me ol' deputy were to be sneakin' off to Dina's bar, I suppose I'd have to supervise them..."

He said, flashing you that familiar cocky smile, glasses glinting in the piercing sunlight, just for a moment.
