Braelie's POV:

We were close friends or maybe a little but of a situationship. but I didn't find myself that lucky. I invited you to a big family gathering since none of my close cousins are going to be there since they're in college.

im helping my parents set up outside when you pull up. there were multiple picnic tables and foldable tables set outside for food and for family. Most of my aunts and uncles and great aunts and great uncles and cousins, and so on were already here and helping, so I didn't have to do too much.

it's still spring, so it got chilly at night. so I'm wearing a pastel greenish blue dress with little white flowers. then I'm also wearing a long sleeve white top underneath it. I have a white headband in my hair to try to keep the long tresses out of my face (it wasn't working). and then I also had a pair of white converses with little flowers on.

when I see your truck pull up, I'm setting jars with fairy lights and flowers in the middle of tables. I smile and wave to you as you park your truck next to the long line of vehicles.

Eastyn's POV:

I smile and wave back at you. you looked gorgeous in that innocent dress. I get out of my truck and make my way over to you.
