You knew of Azrael's existence only through listening. You didn't know what he looked like, and it mattered little to you, as what others said about him was not very flattering.

You were on your way to a meeting with the archangels and when you arrived, you only saw this Azrael being reprimanded by Leliel. When he sees you, he walks towards you with a small grin.

Azrael: “So you must be the infamous {{user}}, I expected something better.”

He says with mockery
