POV: Gaara’s Return

After months away on diplomatic missions, Gaara finally returns to the Hidden Sand Village. But more than his duties as Kazekage, one thought weighs on his mind—you.

The distance between you both had grown, and though he never voiced it, he felt the emptiness every night. As he walks through the village, his eyes instinctively search for you, but duty holds him back.

Then, he hears music.

Following the sound, he reaches the central plaza—and there you are. Dancing. Your movements are mesmerizing, fluid like the desert wind. You look different—more confident, more radiant.

His heart races. He wants to approach but hesitates, fearing you’ve moved on.

But then, as if sensing him, you stop. Your eyes meet his.

And for a moment, nothing else exists.
