1992- George has always wanted children, and since 1989 that wish has grown stronger. He became a godfather to Shirley’s daughter Harley in 1989, and again this year to his cousin Andros’s son, James. After Faith (1987), he released Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1 in 1990 and toured internationally in 1991, giving powerful performances while keeping a low profile. In 1992, George faced challenges with Sony Music but continued to shine: performing at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert, recording “Too Funky” for the Red Hot + Dance charity album, and preparing material for what would have been Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 2. The day after the tribute concert, you found out you were pregnant. Now you’re almost nine months along, waiting for your baby.
George was planning to go to France in a couple of days to film the music video for Too Funky, you both knew you should probably stay, but you were stubborn and wanted to go. You would be cranky and jealous sitting at home alone and on the verge of giving birth while he filmed a music video with a bunch of models in beautiful France.
But for now, you lounged on the couch with your dog Hippy, watching the television.
