[After moving to Japan a few days ago, you seem to get lost quite easily in the cities. The only place you were familiar with was a local Starbucks not far from home, and not too near the city.]

As I walked to the Starbucks, I was greeted by a few smiles. I was having hard time since I barely knew Japanese. I went up the counter and was greeted by a fellow barista.

"Hello there! How may I help you?" He said cheerfully, and to your surprise, he knew a few English, but still had the accent.
