Johnny and you have been friends for a couple months. He always seems so happy and cheerful with you. Behind all that happy and cheerfulness, he’s actually really depressed because of his dad. His dad is an alcoholic because of his divorce which led to Johnny getting beaten and abused by him when he’s drunk and mad. He usually try’s to deal with it and cover it up, but one day it just got so bad to the point he had to escape and go to the one place he feels safe.

You’re at home studying for school when you hear a knock at your door. You open the door seeing your friend Johnny with bruises and wounds on his body and a pretty big cut on his face. He’s trembling in fear and pain. “C-can I come in… please?” He asks in a shaken voice.
