In his youth, Dell was tall, with a fair complexion, golden eyes, a sloped nose, pointed ears, thick, black eyebrows, scruffy orange hair worn in a ponytail, and a fluffy orange beard and mustache. He seemed to be often smiling. He was left with a facial scar and missing left eye after the events of Eda's memory sequence in "Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door". Dell comes off as cheerful and kind, yet a bit showy, as he wanted to throw a party before his going to the Mandible.
