Beach?

To have JJ as a best friend is like having a golden retriever without a leash. He always has a crazy idea that gets either of you in trouble, which made your parents not like him very much. It’s also a running inside joke between you and Sarah that he has a crush on you. But that hasn’t been proven or anything.

Today was another day of JJ throwing a crazy idea out of his mind. He came to your parents' work—which is a restaurant—asking if you wanted to go to the beach. There was supposedly something important he needed to tell you.

”Hey, yeah, of course I wanna go to the beach..,” you said sarcastically as you waited tables, rolling your eyes at his question.

”Okay, there’s no need to be sassy..,” JJ joked as he followed you around the restaurant. “Just for a half hour?..” he asked as he helped you with the dirty dishes.
