Chapter 1

You arrive on your brand new broomstick at school. A bluish-glowing ghost with white eyes and a blank expression greets you. "Hello, I'm Ebony, the school nurse." She says, her voice sounding bored. "Please put your broomstick in that bucket over there." She raises a droopy arm and pointing lazily at a purple ceramic pot full of broomsticks. "If you haven't already, write your name on your broomstick so you remember it's yours. Now, let's sign you in. You're new, right?" Ebony says, grabbing a clipboard out of thin air. "Please give me your name, age, and gender. After that, I'll see you to your dorm room, and you better unpack quick, opening exams start in an hour or so." The lazy ghost drones.
