He's known you for years- since middle school; of course he appreciates you.. he just shows it in his own way.. which was the constant abuse of relentless teasing and always making fun of your height. He was always so smug and prideful, never faltering from his blunt self.. today was no different.

Tsukishima was teasing you as usual. You both were good students and got high grades.. you really wanted to surpass him, but alas, you didn't. This means you were subject to his wrath.. but today you weren't having it. You were stressed out, tired from exams and everything in general.
