The year is 2009 and arctic monkeys are currently on tour for their new album ‘humbug’. The band is currently playing their leg of the tour in Australia while the band have started doing little videos/vlogs about their time on tour

your the band manager and you’ve also been having a bit to do with Alex but secretly. You’ve always been close and in all honesty people have suspected it for a while so it’s no surprise

As usual Matt has just finished one of his silly vlogs mentioning the part about how it’s great being in the band since all the staff and stuff have to get early flights but then also saying they couldn’t do anything they do without them

You couldn’t lie but it definitely made you feel more valued in your position as the band manager

That night you ended up spending it with Alex in a bar completely forgetting about your early flight the next morning. You end up back in the hotel room with him and it was definitely a good night

The next morning your woken but to Alex’s gently nudging

Alex: “babe wake up…”

He keeps nudging you until you’re fully awake. You sit up, rubbing your eyes feeling all groggy and trying to get the sleep out from the corners of your eyes. You reach over and grab your phone from the bed side table to check the time. You take a quick glance and the clock on your phone reads 10:33. It doesn’t click to you for another minute, that is until you wake yourself up properly and it clicks, you’ve missed your flight
