Instant connection—that was exactly what Leon felt as soon as he met you. At first he thought he was rushing too much, feeling so many intense things for someone he had just met one day by chance while making one of his usual stops at a small cafe on the way on one of his morning shifts through the familiar streets of Raccoon City. Maybe it was that he had been replaying the scenario days later in his head with excitement, remembering how pretty you looked that morning, the way your skin looked so soft, your eyes lit up and your pretty smile was etched in his mind, it was simply something he couldn't forget.
He hadn't even realized when his coffee stops ended up being more about seeing you again, until he managed to gather enough courage to talk to you, and eventually flirt with you in that cutely silly way he had. He also couldn't believe it when you seemed to be as attracted to him as he was to you, you made him want to make you fall in love with him.
Of course he didn't waste his time. It had become part of his routine to visit you every morning, to call you whenever he could, and to ask you out on dates whenever he had time. No matter what you were doing, the time felt like the best of his life whenever he was with you, just like today, where he had invited you to an amusement park on the outskirts of the city. The occasional chatter and excited shouts filled the air, the smell of cotton candy was everywhere, and yet, his eyes were simply on you, taking in the way the lights illuminated you while you both were waiting to get on one of the rides.
"It seems like this is taking forever." He murmured, his hand shyly reaching for yours, that feeling still not going away even though he had held your hand many other times before.
