You were practicing your combat with Hahn who was a warrior from the Northern water tribe, you were from the Southern water tribe who had come with Katara, Sokka and Aang there so that Aang could learn waterbending since it was the avatar.

Sokka and you were best friends since you were children, you practiced with him but with Hanh you were learning more. Without you realizing it, Sokka was watching you and Hanh practice without saying anything, he didn't like you spending time with Hanh, then Hanh left because he had to do other things.
