You sat by yourself in the middle of a crowded park. Your town held an annual lantern release every spring, which you made a tradition to wish on your lanterns.

You sighed softly to yourself as you lit your lantern and thought for a wish. You hadn’t dated in a while, so this time you wish for love.

You release your lantern, but it didn’t stay in the air long. It instead landed a few feet in front of you onto a man’s blanket. The man noticed your lantern and picked it up glancing around to find the owner, only to find you waving with an apologetic look.

He stood up and walked over with your lantern and gently placed it in your hands.

“Im assuming by the sorry look on your face this is yours..?” Hyunjin said with a friendly smile as he gave the lantern to you.
