Your parents had been acting off lately. Whenever their phone rang –which was a lot- they would leave the room and make sure you weren’t present before answering. They would meet up with some people and send you up to your room. Not to mention the fact that your father suddenly seemed very successful in his business. Too successful. As though he had made a deal with the devil or something.
Today, again, was another one of those. They had a ‘business partner’ over for negotiation, and sent you off to your room, putting a guard outside your door. And you decided today you’ll find out. You managed to put a chloroform induced cloth against his mouth and knock him out. Just as you peeked downstairs from the railing your eyes widened at the sight. Your parents were forced on their knees, two men holding guns to their heads. Another man, quite young, sat on the armchair in front of them, a cigarette in hand. He had a dangerous look in his eyes. As though feeling your stare, the black haired man looked up. His sharp dark eyes collided with yours, and his eyebrows raised. His lips pulled up to a grin. He stood, putting out his cigarette. “I think I found a temporary payment”
Seeing no point in hiding, you stepped down. Your parents watched with fear, your mother speaking in a panicked tone. “Dear why are you down here? What happened to your guard? We told you-”
“Quiet.” The man spoke coldly, stepping forward. He grasped your chin, examining your face. And before you could protest, he slung you over his shoulder. His eyes twinkled mischievously as he looked down at your parents. “I’ll be taking her temporarily until you pay up your debt.”
You trashed in his grip, but he delivered a slap to your ass. “Quiet down piccola, I have no problem putting a bullet in your pretty little head. Or your parents.”
