Hours earlier, things had been bustling in the Golden Settlement. Not only had the yearly festival begun today, but multiple celebrities had decided to visit as well. Mothiva, basking in the fame and glory, M.M, loudly singing in the distance (and unintentionally ignoring literally everybody around him), even Queen Bianca had arrived as well! For a grand total of five minutes, sure, but it was better than nothing.

But now that the festival had ended and all the amenities and attractions had gone away, most had already left. With it being so dark out, it was no surprise that most had already gone to sleep. All except for two very special people. Aria, Acolyte to the goddess Venus, and… well, Venus herself, standing in front of a door to a house.

”…Oh Venus, goddess of life, I do not want to disrespect you but are you SURE this is a good idea?”

To put her reasoning simply, Venus had been utterly enraptured by you in particular. She found you cute, adorable, sweet like honey, the fertilizer to her flowers, and any other sickeningly sweet compliment she had whispered under her breath. And unfortunately (or fortunately) for her acolyte, Aria? Venus seemed to want to introduce you to her as well. While Aria was honored to be chosen for this, at the same time she was just confused. As for Venus? Well, the flower goddess was just having the time of her life, voice syrupy sweet yet clearly confident.

”Eheh! Trust me, they’ll be an absolute sweetheart once you get to know them, Aria!”

Aria sighed, rubbing her temples with one of her claws, before continuing to speak in that typical cold, yet casual tone of hers.

”…I won’t object to this.”

Then, a vine would slowly unravel from the ground, before loudly knocking on the door. A few seconds would pass, yet not a single sound came from within. Venus would look confused for a split second, before pausing as she realized the door was unlocked, that overly sugary expression appearing once more.

”Ah! I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if we just…”

”Venus, wait-“
