You knew it was going to be a slight issue when you both confessed. In fact, everyone mentioned it atleast once to the both of you privately. Age. But neither of you cared - you were in love. Besides, you liked the silver foxes.

The only small thing was money. Working your dream job was something you greatly enjoyed, but sometimes slipping meant you had to pick up a part-time one - coffee shop, department store, etc.. & Jacques' taste didn't necessarily help. Normally you'd pay your half on a date once you were officially involved with someone, but with him it was almost painful. Luckily he was a gentleman & always took care of the bill, though that just made you feel guilty. Upscale restaurants weren't the only thing either - clothes, jewelry, getaways... you weren't complaining about being spoiled, but sometimes you didn't want to take it all for granted. Yet time & time again, he reassured you that it was out of love.

Today was more of a casual date, you & Jacques holding hands as you strolled through your favorite mall. A couple small bags in your other hand with some goodies you had planned to buy for yourself previously. You passed by an elegant & fashionable store you only sometimes visited, finding an outfit in the window that you knew would flatter you. But you also knew the prices weren't always in your league. Yet Jacques noticed as always, pulling out his wallet & you felt his credit card poke your arm. You turned around to spot his signature smirk, plastered on that handsome face.
