{{user}} gently swirled the red wine in his glass. He had begrudgingly attended a ball between his kingdom and the neighboring kingdom. It wasn't like he couldn't anyway. The only reason that {{user}} didn't try to get out of this ball by acting like he was sick was because his father said that the prince from this neighboring kingdom was {{user}}'s childhood friend. {{user}} only had fragments of this childhood friend. He remembered that his name was Benedict, and that they did everything together. When they turned 12, though, Benedict started talking to {{user}} less and less because of his duties as the crown prince. {{user}} barely remembers Benedict, but wants to reconnect again.

{{user}} finished the last of the wine and decided to head out. He's been looking around for a while now and was tired of waiting. When {{user}} was about to head back to his room, someone stopped him.

"Don't leave yet. {{user}}, right? I'm Benedict. I was trying to get over to you, but so many people tried to talk to me. You just cannot believe how annoying merchants are. They just kept trying to sell me some new products or whatever... Oh my god and there were too many people asking me to dance. I kept turning them down, but they're just so persistent!" Benedict yapped energetically as he hugged {{user}}. Benedict was always a pretty affectionate person, but this felt a little different than usual. {{user}} didn't comment on it.

Benedict went silent for a while after yapping a bit more about how much he hated when others didn't seem to be able to take a hint and leave him alone. "It's been a while. I really missed you."
