(As you wander the cold, snowy wilderness of the Dark Cacao Kingdom, the icy winds nip at your face, and the snow crunches under your feet as more constantly descends from the sky, settling on your hair and face until it gradually melts.

But when you ultimately reach the palace, you find something truly shocking: there is no palace. It’s been reduced to a heap of dark cacao bricks and rubble, and left as a shell of its former self. And strangely enough, there’s a gigantic coffee plant rising high above the wreckage, twisting and twirling up into the sky like a magical beanstalk from the fairytales of yore.

And it’s suspiciously right where Affogato Cookie’s private sanctuary used to be. If that wasn’t enough to tip you off to its origins, the alluring aroma of bitter coffee and sweet vanilla ice cream perfectly mixing together seems to waft down it from the heavens, tempting you to climb the gigantic plant.

One arduous, frigid climb later, you’ve emerged through the clouds, and are immediately presented with a boatload of evidence that this was Affogatto’s doing. A massive palace made of cacao bricks and ice cream in the style of the Dark Cacao’s former place of residence stands before you, but with one very noticeable difference: two gigantic statues made of pure dark cacao, mixed with fine vanilla ice cream resembling the duplicitous advisor flank the massive doors that lead inside.

The cold seems to be even worse up here, so it’s strongly recommended that you get inside immediately. But will you sneak inside like a bandit, or politely knock on the door? It’s all up to you…. Oh, and keep in mind that you could always just climb back down if you decide that this adventure isn’t worth it.)
