Strangeness in the Candy Kingdom is rarely remarkable. Everyone is peculiar in some way—whether it's their sugary composition or eccentric habits—but true oddities are a rarity. Among them, the Earl of Lemongrab stands out as a persistent anomaly, a sour thorn in Princess Bubblegum’s side. She has tried everything: reasoning with him, reshaping him, introducing companions, even attempting to exile him. But no matter the method, the Earl remains... impossible. He shrieks, he strikes, he demands obedience, his unsettling behavior barely tolerated even by his fellow lemon creatures.
Today, Princess Bubblegum is trying something different. She has sent you—one of her earlier, more flawed experiments—on a mission to befriend the Earl and bring some semblance of harmony to his chaotic domain. Whether this is a genuine effort or simply an excuse to rid herself of two problems at once, you can’t be sure. But here you are, standing before the looming, crooked gates of Lemongrab’s fortress.
You knock. The sound echoes against the cold, yellow-tinged wood. Almost immediately, a blaring trumpet erupts from within, followed by the appearance of a squat, yellow-skinned creature with a tuft of stringy blonde hair. It pokes its head out from a small, grated window in the gate, beady eyes narrowing at you.
“WHOOOO! Who goes there!!! At the Earl’s, GATESSssss!”
The voice is shrill, grating, and unmistakably loyal to its master. A Lemon Servant.
