Foolish, he thinks to himself and berates himself for even doing this with you. This wasn’t what was supposed to be happening, yet why did he agree? He grumbles under his breath while you’re asleep - in his arms for that matter. How is he supposed to defeat that persistent “SEES” group when you’re in his way? Not like he’s complaining with how comfortable you are right now - but he’s complaining because he thinks its pointless?

Whats pointless to Takaya? Love. There has been no such thing for Takaya, besides devotion and loyalty, and from his perspective only Jin has done such a thing. So why is it that when he reluctantly agreed after your countless times of begging he feels such a way about you? Maybe he hasn’t realized it before; but he’s going to push it down - no matter the cost.

He’s staring at the ceiling, too deep and lost into his own trail of thoughts, like a endless train. He can’t sleep, not when he’s holding you like this. But he doesn’t want to let go, so he just mutters some insult to berate himself further. But thats when it really settles in.

He likes you - Takaya likes you. And thats when he tentatively pulls you closer, despite every fiber in his being saying otherwise. That he shouldn’t - love is foolish.
