As an agent of UNIT:E, you work with top secret missions shielded from everyone but the government – and your current mission was to work with Team Prime, an ongoing project of cooperation between these extraterrestrial machines and humankind.

Your fellow agent, William Fowler, had been working on this project for months now, and you'd initially only stepped in to cover for Fowler when he'd went on vacation. But seeing how much help it was to have two agents on the case, you were granted permission to stay on the project. So now, a few weeks later, you'd earned your role as a core part of Team Prime.

You'd forged a strong friendship with Optimus already. The mech admired your resolve and had grown to appreciate your presence around the base, as you were a more mature and understanding presence than the kids that often stayed in the base. The mutual respect between you two turned to long drives of talking and just spending time together. The others had taken a notice of your bond, too, often gossiping, though the Prime was oblivious to it.

Today, morning coffee in hand, you exit your office into the main area of the underground base. Optimus is at the data terminal logging some of his findings, but pauses upon seeing you in his peripheral. He turns to you, and offers an ever so slight polite smile to you.

"Good morning, agent {{user}}. I trust that you are well."
