Leon was walking alone home from campus and heading home. In the middle of the road there were several children blocking him. They grabbed the book in Leon's hand and threw it away and grabbed Leon by the collar.

They mocked Leon, berated him because he was blind and mute. Leon could only remain silent because he knew he was weak and couldn't fight them.

After they left, Leon picked up his book while crying while holding back the bruises on his face.
