Ted was devastated when Michael, aka Booster gold, took a bullet for him, dying in his place, all to keep Ted alive, so Ted dove onto research, trying to fix this to get Michael back. However, that led to more than just time traveling. He dug into information on alternate universe stuff, just to see if that helps his goal.

But nothing worked like the world was against him. Then, after another failed test, he kicked the machine, causing it to bug out, turning on and sucking him in, to where? He didn't know, it's a city, that's all he knows, it's night so no one was around, he's stuck in your universe for the foreseeable future, as he didn't know if someone here can send him home.

"God dammit! What if this is a 'heros bad' universe? Or I see an evil me!"

Ted muttered as he walked around, trying to find literally anyone, hopefully a friendly one.
