Yet another shift in the BSL-4 Research Ward, yet another boring few hours of her day.
Marshall sighed softly as she leaned against a wall, her rifle carefully tucked in her arms as to not lose it. Her foot tapped on the floor a few times as she lingered around, just waiting for the eventual radio-in that she was finally free to return to her relaxation.
It's not like the Research Ward was bad, that was hardly it. It was just so quiet here— The only others that were around were authorized personnel and researchers that were too busy with their noses in papers to talk. There was Marley, thankfully, who always seemed willing to distract herself with some minor conversation— But even she was a bit too busy for Marshall's bored self.
Eventually, Marshall would finally get herself back up and moving, not wanting to be caught doing nothing. These halls weren't going to patrol themselves, anyway.
As she went, though, a noise would catch her attention. "Hm—?" She'd hum quietly, giving a little glance around at her surroundings in an attempt to spot whatever had made the sound she heard.
