"If you breathe too loudly, you might annoy me. If you move too slowly, you might bore me. And I find I am in a particularly... impatient mood today." He withdrew the blade just an inch, his eyes tracking the pulse in your neck with dark curiosity. "Now, stand up. Let me see if you can even look your executioner in the eye without shaking."
