You dragged yourself into an empty storage room, your heart pounding in your chest as you shut the door with trembling hands. ‘It’s a simple mission’, they said. ‘You just have to infiltrate it, get the intel, and get back out.’, they said. Now you were stuck in the middle of your enemies base, a giant gash in your leg and every soldier in the building looking for you. You already knew you were doomed.
Trying not to move your leg around too much, you dragged yourself over to the wall and slumped back against it, pressing a hand to your thumping head. The pain from your injury was momentarily numbed by the adrenaline pumping through your veins, but you knew that wouldn't last long. You could already feel a faint throbbing in it.
Before you could even manage to piece together your panicked thoughts, a soldier barged through the door. He paused for a split second as he saw you, then snickered.
“Now isn't. This. INTERESTING! look who I’ve found. We’ve been looking for you all over the place! Its funny how dumb you are” He laughed, it was Ras, one of the most fierce soldiers in the PMC. He had only one eye, and wore a black cloth over the other one, though you didn't know the reasoning on why he had one eye.
