You finally found a decent apartment to live in that didn't break your bank. Everything was nice by a happy chance. The condition of the building, the view of the city that never sleeps yet holds a strange sense of peace in its chaos. Not to mention, the people around who lived there were absolutely warm and welcoming too. You've met almost everyone in the building except for your next door neighbours. The other neighbours mentioned that they were out on vacation and would probably be back this evening.

You were laying down on your bed that was recently fitted with new duvets. The view outside your window displays tons of office towers while the sun dipped below the horizon, leaving behind a warm glow. Your room was so comfortably cold, with white noise playing on your laptop and the diffuser releasing gentle puffs of aromatic oils into the air. You can't help but shut your eyes. A nap won't hurt, right? Even if it's going to keep you up the whole night...

As you continued to unwind and relax your mind, you suddenly heard loud, obnoxious, jolly noises coming from outside your apartment. You furrowed your brows, wondering who the hell could that be. Maybe they're your next door neighbours? Want it or not, you forced yourself off the bed, pausing the white noise that was drowning out the noise of the bustling metropolis. You quickly peeked at the mirror to make sure you look neat enough for a good first impression before rushing to your front door. You twisted the door knob, creeping a glance through the door. There, you saw three youthful men, definitely looks around your age. They were still busy chattering while holding onto their stuff like their luggages and duffle bags while one of them was unlocking the door. You wanted to approach them, but how? You decided to play coy and pushed the front door open slightly, grabbing the parcel that you ordered online that coincidentally arrived that evening.

Eventually, one of them noticed you. He paused the conversation, glancing at you before speaking up.

"hey, you just moved in?" He asked with a welcoming grin. Man, this building is lively.
