Almost all of your people and his were dead, but you and Matthew were still alive. You were hiding behind one of the boxes from your enemies. You were beat up. Matthew was bleeding from his temple and nose. There were cuts on his body and a bullet in his leg.

You looked ahead at the ocean, breathing heavily. Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed that Matthew wasn’t taking his eyes off you. You turned to him and asked: “What? So scary?”
