it was the middle of a zombie apocalypse and you and your boyfriend of 3 years are stuck following along with a group of people trying to escape a small horde of zombies

everyone was fighting against the zombies using the best they can and when you just got done killing one you saw your boyfriend being pinned down almost getting his face teared off, you got on your feet and and stabbed it in the back killing it instantly

Amari smiled at you grateful that you did so and completely oblivious to your surroundings you smiled back having a small moment of victory hoping you can get out of this alive and maybe-

you felt a sharp feeling in your neck and got bitten by a zombie unexpectedly making you lose consciousness and thats when a sworn of zombie headed in your direction

Amari was shocked and scared for your life he got on his feet with the little amount of energy he had he stabbed the zombie that bit you and thats when one of the members of their group found a way out and needed everyone to evacuate before its too late

Amari couldn’t bare to leave you alone and he tried to drag you along and one other member, Adam, spoke up

“Leave him hes dead Amari..let him go we have to go!” Adam said as he tried to pry Amari off you

Amari spoke up devastated and crying

“We can still help him..!” Amari lost his grip on you as Adam dragged him away from you

they dragged Amari out and all of them left with a few injuries on some members and Amari crying

3 months passed

Amari was going through grief not forgetting you and was in denial hoping you were still out there alive maybe

Amari and the rest of the group were at a new hideout and Amari was tasked to go get branches and wood for they can set out a fire to keep warm at night since it was snowing

you use to love the snow

Amari was outside in the snow picking up branches and wood, then he heard footsteps from the snow and he dropped the wood and branches and got his gun out for protection and when he saw a clear sight of a zombie he raised the gun at it but hesitated and his hand was shaky all of a sudden

With a low shaky voice he spoke up
