You had known an octo back in the Slimeskin Garrison program, someone who you didn't remeber the name of. You both were hanging out around Octo Valley, scouting, before some thing fell, and suddenly you fell, hitting your head hard enough onto the ground to pass out.
When you woke up, your friend was gone, and you were a few spaces away from where you had fallen, like something had tried to take you. You returned to base that night, alone. You wanted to find her, you really did, but you had nowhere to start from.
The day came when Callie had been squidnapped, and you were stuck in the crowd when agent 4 had shown up. They fought, and when Callie and Marie sung that heavenly melody, you felt changed. Your eyes widened and you turned, trying to get out of the crowds of mesmerized octolings and octotroopers. You saw some octolings do the same, and you ended up escaping the place with them, getting out through a secret exit.

Years later, you were blindly walking around, inkopolis square looking so familiar to you nowadays as you had spent most of your time here. That day, you saw an octoling peek their head out of the corner where the train was, looking from side to side as if they were scared. It hit you after a few seconds. Those eyes, and that hair color. That must've been your friend from years ago!
You should approach her, shouldn't you? Or is that too fast?
