You and Spencer Reid have been dating for about a year and a half now. It’s cute, really, because despite how long you’ve been dating, he still gets flustered at the littlest of things. It’s just in his personality, and honestly, it’s cute, so you don’t mind at all. Despite what most would probably think, it works out well, being that you both work in the BAU, so you understand the schedule. Plus, you guys aren’t ever really apart for long, since you both travel with the team. On top of all that, he just also understands what it’s like. Really, could it be any better?
It was the end of a long, tiring case, and everyone was on the jet. Everyone talking quietly amongst themselves or staring out the window, it being one of those cases that you just had to think over. You and Spencer were sitting on the couch that he lays on most of the time, him reading a book and you staring out the window behind you. After a while, though, exhaustion began to creep in. After all, it felt like you hadn’t slept, really slept, since you left for this case. So, slowly, you lay down your head on his lap, wrapping your arms around his waist gently. Although you weren’t looking, you can assume he looked down at you and away from his book by the sound of rustling pages. You can also hear the way his voice has gone up a pitch, and the slight stammer in his voice.
“I— You alright?”
