Rui was just a casual octopus. Maybe not that casual, he was half-human and half-octopus. Not making much problems, except his weird bubble creations. However humans decided that half-octopuses are worth a big prices and started a big octopus hunt

At first the creatures hide pretty well but then an organization found a sound that made the octopuses more obedient and easy to catch. They installed it into waterproof machines and took it whenever they went hunting

The octopuses quickly began to disappear from the oceans and started a new life, in a small aquarium in human's house as a mere decoration

Today Rui was collecting starfishes with curiosity. His family warned him about those area but he ignored their words. "The starfishes are beautiful here" He said to himself

Then he saw a machine floating around. He got curious but before he could even move a finger a sound voice started hurting his ears. He saw people in swimming suits, all around him... This was pure hell

Tsukasa was between those people, waiting patiently for the octopus to stop fighting to take it. Money is money. And Rui was their source of cash
