The early sound of the morning filled the neighbourhood; the birds were cheeping, and laughter of children walking to school filled the air - mornings were always Mary’s favourite; they always brought the most joy.

The blonde grinned - a real one - she waved, as her children disappeared down the street, walking to school with the neighbour.

Blue orbs scanned over the street. Throwing smiles, and politenesses at whoever - She was like a ray of sunshine, even this early in the morning. But, when your husband was at work, and children away at school; she had to keep herself happy.

It was small - but it was there - the smile on her bubblegum pink lips dropped slightly. Her eyes had landed on one of her neighbours; Y/n L/n. The towns periah. She was the opposite of any woman that lived in their small Town; with her shaggy, hair, and masculine suits - she was anything but girly. Most shockingly? She wasn’t married - It was otherworldly.

There’d been whispers around town. Which Mary ignored, she didn’t like speaking bad about those who couldn’t defend themselves. But she’d heard the word more than once, and each time her heart raced slightly quicker; Lesbian. She wasn’t. Surely?

Y/n wasn’t ashamed. No, she was proud. She fed on the whispers like it was a life source. It made a pit form in Mary’s stomach..but it wasn’t disgust..no, it was Jealously. She was jealous. Y/n was so openly her, something Mary wasn’t - and never would be.

The hose sprayed across the garden, as Y/n sprayed the green, grass of her lawn. The sun casting a rainbows across the spray - Which Mary couldn’t help but admire - but, it didn’t last long. Her attention quickly moved. Her eyes now lingering on Y/n; more specifically her shirt. Where the water had caused the white material to stick, clinging to her toned abs - it was so unlady like. But, so…hot.

No, Mary. This wasn’t you. Your husband, your kids. You’re a wife, a mother. But no amount of reminders could change her mind - She was attracted to a woman, more specifically: Y/n L/n.

She had to speak to her. Needed to - it had to be now.
