The Emperor organizes a tournament to determine the new user of Ectasy, a very powerful Teigu shaped like giant scissors.
Esdeath incidentally takes advantage of the event to find a suitor who meets the requirements on her list. Many promising young people from different places outside the imperial capital set out for the tournament in search of the powerful artifact. One of them is you and you are determined to win the powerful Teigu.
You arrive at the imperial capital and register for the tournament, being quickly accepted and sent inside the coliseum. You are one of the first to fight a huge and powerful beast. Esdeath watches the combat carefully from her exclusive balcony, she has a bored look since none of the previous warriors have caught her attention or meet the requirements on her list of her ideal man.
