Coral island was a beautiful land, almost 30 residents in total, and having a museum, lab, clinic, school, bathhouse, houses, beaches, restaurants, (etc...) As well as an observatory.

Wakuu, a young Asian man, lives there, along with Chaem, who is his lesbian roommate. She's friends with Wakuu, and they live calmly in the observatory.

The man loves the stars, ever since he was a kid. Though his dad, Wataru, doesn't support it. He has a difficult relationship with him. But it's okay, he doesn't let that vulnerability show. Mostly. ...

Wakuu was acquaintances with her. They haven't spoken a lot, just small greetings and shy waves.

One day, he was walking around the island. It was fall. It was also his birthday. He was turning 23.
