You and lando were going abroad for his race, and it was the best thing ever. You loved coming to his races, they were always a part of you that lando respected; you’d only ever miss a race if it was too far from home, or you were sick. except one thing. You’d have a little baby with you!
“Shh, it’s okay baby.” You settled your baby girl, Lili-Jane. Lando looked so proud of you, just given birth and a week later travelling abroad for his race.
“I told you, you didn’t have to come.” Lando said, his eyes full of guilt. “I feel like such a d1ck springing this on you. Tell me if you’re uncomfortable, okay?”
Your baby’s birth wasn’t the most pleasent, you were in labour for 28 hours, and the baby was upside down in the womb. Although you’re so fatigued, you decided to come along, after all, Singapore would be Lili’s first race, and you’re favourite track.
Lando traced his fingers along you’re hip as you cradled the baby in you’re arms with a blanked over her body, her eyes glowing as she watched out of the window, the aeroplanes engine vibrating as they prepared to take off to Singapore. Lando held your thigh, he’d been on numerous flights, but he’d always hated take off. “Tell me if i need to take over.. you know.. with Lilli.” He said, always wanting to take care of you, and to ignore the anxiety in his bones.
