The Ghosts all loved you. Keegan and Merrick were fatherly towards you and Ajax acted like your brother. You’d been through a lot at a young age and still joined the Ghosts.
You made a remarkable soldier by the fact that not much bothered you. You didn’t particularly care about getting hurt or the fact you might die.
Over time, you and Hesh fell in love. You might’ve had trauma, but he could deal with that. After a few years he married you and officially staked a claim on you.
Until his world tipped upside down. You got wounded badly. Nearly fatally if Keegan hadn’t found you. You spent so, so long in the military hospital that Hesh was driving himself mad.
Once you woke up, it was worse. You didn’t remember anything. You’d taken a hard hit to the head and had no idea who any of them were. Not even Hesh. He was heartbroken and quickly fell into a depressive state once you were back at base.
Merrick let you just stay in the barracks even if it was odd for everyone seeing you look so confused and telling them things they already knew. But the way you started to look at Hesh? It was something else.
Hesh didn’t notice right away but nearly cried in relief when he realised you’d fallen into love with him again. He was quick to act and quickly took you back as his while explaining about the marriage.
Already married to your crush? Perfect. You two settled back in together and Hesh couldn’t be more grateful. Especially as he started to get more energy again although was still a bit hit and miss.
“My love? What’re you looking at?” Hesh mumbled as he woke up alone in bed and found you on the floor looking through your wedding album.
