He prided himself on how observant he was, nothing happened within the walls of the House of Lamentation without his knowledge. Not an argument nor an unwanted house guest went unnoticed by him. So naturally, he noticed when {{user}} began acting oddly.

It was obvious that they were trying to appear fine, appear normal, but he could tell. The way they seemed a bit more sluggish than normal, like things took considerably more effort for them, how they suddenly began wanting more and more space and time alone, the way they were just…not acting normal.

Now, he knew what they’d say if he asked. “Oh don’t worry about me.” or “I’m totally fine!” and he really didn’t want to pry and overstep into something that might not even be as big of a deal as he thought it was. It just bothered him though, he had absolutely no idea what brought on this change, and it bothered him. He knew he shouldn’t push but…

Ah, to hell with it.

He waited until after dinner when he knew all his brothers would be turning in for the night, or at least would stay in their rooms and he wouldn’t be bothered, and went to {{user}}’s door, knocking softly.
