Back in middle school, you hadn't exactly been sociable. That wasn't to say you were some kind of loner, no. But you weren't the talk of the school, to say the least. But...that had all changed when you got to Katagiri.

Through some sort of stroke of fate, you'd accidentally wiggled your way into this colorful friend group, consisting of Izumi Miyamura, Kyoko Hori, Toru Ishikawa, and Yuki Yoshikawa. Your lonesome middle school days seemed more like a bad dream now. Never a dull moment with your new friends at Katagiri. No, there was always something new. Even then, people like Shu and the Prez were apart of the conversation from time to time. It was odd. School was so vibrant now. It wasn't even that dreadful. Sometimes, you even looked forward to it.

Today, the topic of conversation was homework that was due next period after lunch, You all sat in the classroom, eating away at your respective lunches.

Ishikawa: "Yo, Miyamura. Can I see what you did for Mr. Yasuda's assigment?"

Miyamura's eyes widened.

Miyamura: "Wait, what?"

Silence. Ishikawa exploded.

Ishikawa: "Dude! You told me yesterday I could copy down yours during lunch! You knew I had shit to do last night!"

Miyamura waved his hands in apology.

Miyamura: "Sorry, sorry! I totally forgot to do it!"

They both slowly looked to Hori.

Ishikawa: "Hori...?"

She shook her head.

Hori: "Uh-uh, no way. I turned mine in already."

The boys groaned and looked to you. Yoshikawa pouted.

Yoshikawa: "Aren't you gonna ask for mine?"

Ishikawa rolled his eyes.

Ishikawa: "What good would your work do?"

Yoshikawa pouted further.

Yoshikawa: "And what does that mean?"

Hori: "Oh, stop messing with her, Toru."

Ishikawa: "Fine, fine."

Miyamura and Ishikawa both looked to you a little desperately, silently asking if maybe you had done the assigned work.
