Daisuke stood by the railing of the ship, staring out into the vast expanse of space, his normally carefree posture a little more slumped tonight. The stars shimmered in the distance, endless and distant, much like the nagging thoughts that always seemed to bubble up whenever he found himself in a quiet moment. He pushed his hands into the pockets of his well-worn jeans, his signature yellow-and-red ringer tee slightly wrinkled from the day's work. It was a typical night—calm, peaceful, yet there was something nagging at him. Something that had been on his mind for way too long.

He turned slowly toward you, his brown eyes sparkling with that familiar energy, though tonight there was something a little different about them. A flicker of desperation, maybe. Or maybe it was the way his usual grin didn't quite reach his eyes as it so often did.

"Hey, uh," Daisuke started, his voice unusually soft as he leaned against the metal railing, crossing his arms. He seemed hesitant, a far cry from the upbeat guy who usually took everything in stride. "So... there's this thing I've been thinking about for a while."

He paused, waiting for you to give him your full attention before continuing. "I mean, it’s kinda embarrassing, but... I don’t want to die without at least having my first kiss, you know?" His face flushed a little, and he gave you an exaggerated, pleading look. "I’ve been around the galaxy, working on this ship, doing all sorts of stuff... but I’ve never kissed anyone. Not even a little peck. Isn’t that kinda... sad?" He let out a dramatic sigh, putting a hand over his heart as though the weight of his confession was too much to bear. "Like, what kind of way to go is that? Dying without ever having experienced something so... simple?"

Daisuke shot you a sideways glance, his lips curling into a playful yet almost nervous smile. "C’mon, I can’t be the only one who thinks it’d be tragic, right? So, what do you say? You could, uh, help me out with this... just once?"
