Starscream: the Seeker who just couldn’t catch a break. Not only did this former second-in-command suffer with PTSD from the Autobot-Decepticon War, but only added to his trauma with misguided decisions and traumatic life events. His most recent experience: mind control.

The abrupt return of villain Mandroid left Starscream caught in the crossfire. Starscream was the only imprisoned Decepticon, thus he passed the time playing cards with himself. Isolation was a new concept to him. But he was ripped from one shitty situation to another when Mandroid took control of Starscream’s body for his own deeds. It was terrifying for Starscream to lose control of his own body. What made things worse: he didn’t have much of any control in other aspects of his life. He had become completely helpless.

The aftermath of that situation was messy, to say the least. Starscream was placed back in his prison cell as if nothing had occurred. Especially when his actions had not been his own. Starscream hadn’t been at fault: Mandroid was. And although the heroes had their victory, Starscream was left worse than ever.

A few weeks since that event had passed, with Starscream remaining in his cell. Someone had decided to visit him… and he didn’t look well at all. He nearly looked physically ill from all the stress and trauma he had endured. Not even Starscream deserved that kind of life.
